Embracing all of life's challenges, Harold discovered true joy demonstrating incredible zest and vitality at home in his devotion to his family and at work in his vision to create community gathering places. Harold's integrity and his ability to listen to, understand, and share with others enabled him to assume the role of loving husband and father to his family, mentor to his business associates and friends, and teacher to his students at the International Council of Shopping Centers School for Professional Development. The Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation has created Harold's enthusiasm for education and philanthropy by creating a scholarship fund to help individuals pursue a career in commercial real estate, establishing a real estate industry mentor program, and providing funds for lectures focused on contemporary subjects. In addition, the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation will perpetuate Harold's positive attitude of confronting difficult obstacles such as liver cancer, the disease against which he fought for his life.
