Based on a love for modifying a 1960 Dune Buggy he acquired from his grandpa, Mr. Ken Statton had an idea to build a Serpentine Pulley Assembly for it. The "Kit" was an instant hit!!!  It was durable, extremely reliable and looked GREAT!!!  Utilizing his business experience from his primary company, M&M Manufacturing, Inc., out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, he definitely recognized there was a market for it.  As a result, Ken created a side-line company, Custom Bug Products in 2003.  

Even though he experienced several years of positive sales success, lots of testing took place to improve both the performance and visual aspects of the pulley "kit".  Then, in 2007, spurned by the tremendous growth of his manufacturing business, along with the support of his new partner, Mary Statton, the Serpentine Pulley System was relaunched under the new company name, Motorsports Tulsa, L.L.C.  This time, bigger and better enhancements, and a desire to have the best products on the market all backed with outstanding Customer Service are the benchmarks for the business. 

Motorsports Tulsa, L.L.C. is primarily a web-based retailer of custom designed and manufactured automotive accessories for early model Volkswagens.  Keep watching our site and look for us at VW shows around the country.  We are constantly striving to come up with new and exciting products to dress-up and spruce-up your VW or Mustang...all of this while trying to share our Flagship item, the "Serpentine Pulley System" with everyone!!!
