Does your family function as God intended it? Don't worry; Jacob and Esau's family didn't either! All families -- from then and now -- have issues. The children will examine family issues such as hard feelings, lies, conflict resolution and trust and realize that God can help with their family relationships. This rotational unit is not just for kids. The focus is on the family -- then and now.

Two fun and meaningful FAMILY ACTIVITIES are scheduled for the WHOLE FAMILY. Through a Ropes Course challenge in the Ropes Course Workshop, family units work together on building family trust, faith, communication and respect for each other. Through the Computer Workshop (or no-computer adaptation) children learn how family meetings can strengthen family love and respect. They create a family meeting agenda that can be used on Celebration Sunday. A special Celebration Sunday lesson plan is included so families can meet and be led in understanding and planning family meetings.
