We have been in discussion with many public and private recycling centers which would allow fishing enthusiast to discard their used fishing line spooled on plastic bottles, into recycling bins with other plastic materials, such as plastic milk cartons, soft drink, and water bottles. Those spooled bottles can then be forwarded to the line manufacturers, which would add to their recycling programs.

Monofilament fishing line lasts 600 years, now with the onset of new braided and hybrid-fishing line, recycling efforts have become a little more difficult with separation of the various line types. Riplines offers a solution to that problem too.
