Pg.v, 1st paragraph, second sentence: San Diego County is the only county in the United States with both an ocean-coast and a low desert. (Los Angeles County has an ocean-coast and a high desert > 2000' elev.)

Pg.94, 2nd paragraph, spelling "visiting".

Pg.153, sentence at bottom, spelling "of".

Pg.175, Sandra Hayen's painting Pine Creek Crossing was inadvertantly cropped prior to publication so that only the top left quadrant of the painting appears in the book, and the creek is missing. An image of the painting will be posted here soon.
